Inspiration

We live in a time where it’s becoming harder to trust what we see, hear, or read online. Messages look real, voices sound familiar, and images feel authentic — but many of them are created or manipulated by AI. We were inspired by how quickly people can be misled and lose their privacy or money without even realizing something is wrong.

That fear and uncertainty made us ask one simple question:
What if AI could be used to protect people instead of deceiving them? **
That question became **Project Z.

What the Project Does

Project Z is an AI-powered system that helps users detect scams and malicious content before any harm happens. It can analyze messages, links, images, audio, and videos to identify suspicious or AI-generated content and alert users in real time.

Our mission is clear and simple:

How We Built It

We focused on building something fast, simple, and reliable.

The frontend is designed to feel calm and intuitive, allowing users to scan content easily. Behind the scenes, the backend processes data securely and efficiently. We integrated the Gemini API to understand complex and multimodal data, including AI-generated images, voice patterns, and videos.

Instead of overwhelming users with technical details, Project Z delivers clear alerts and explanations within seconds.

Challenges We Faced

One of the biggest challenges was dealing with how realistic AI-generated content has become. It’s no longer obvious what is fake. We also worked hard to ensure the system remains fast while still being accurate and easy to understand for non-technical users.

What We Learned

This project taught us that trust can’t be assumed anymore — it has to be protected. We learned how powerful AI can be when used responsibly and how important it is to design technology that puts people first.
