Project: Yoink!

Inspirations

My inspirations are the game hole.io for the gameplay, the movie Mars Attack for the humor, and my own creativity of course.

What it does

Beam targets, don't get caught, upgrade your UFO! And complete you Index with more or less accurate researches ...

How we built it

This prototype is mostly built with AI, mainly Cursor, Chatgpt, and Suno for the music.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to get the UI to feel good and to have a mobile feeling to it, but I think I managed to get it done.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am happy that I was able to make the UFO beam very satisfying, and that this prototype is properly working overall.

What I learned

I learned new ways to get Cursor to be more efficient, and I learned more about mobile games design.

What's next for Project: Yoink!

I need to work on the art, add more content, I really want to make a map with skyscrapers and other big buildings, more UFO designs etc. Let's keep it fun and absurd!
