About the Project: ProjectX is a next-generation AI-driven mobility simulator designed to model competitive racing and multi-agent mobility scenarios in real-time. It will combine realistic vehicle physics, adaptive AI strategy engines, and digital twin environments to simulate races, energy optimization, and emergent behaviors under dynamic conditions like weather, pit stops, and traffic events.
Why It Matters: Current simulators are closed, expensive, and limited to single-driver or single-team testing. ProjectX aims to provide an open, modular, and scalable platform for AI strategy experimentation, sustainability benchmarking, and autonomous vehicle research — bridging the gap between simulation, telemetry, and real-world decision-making.
How We Plan to Build It in the Hackathon:
Simulation Engine: Python + SimPy / CARLA for physics-based multi-agent movement
AI Layer: Reinforcement learning with PyTorch for adaptive strategy modeling
Telemetry & Analytics: Real-time JSON feeds for lap times, energy use, and predictive insights
Frontend: React + Three.js for live 3D visualization, leaderboards, and AI commentary
MVP Approach (24 hrs): Implement agent movement and basic telemetry → add dynamic events (rain, pit, collisions) → integrate AI agents and a live dashboard
ProjectX demonstrates AI, simulation, and sustainability working together in a single platform, providing a compelling, scalable, and technically feasible solution judges can immediately grasp — even before it’s built.
