Inspiration
We were inspired by the increasing gap in wealth inequality that was exaggerated by the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the solutions taken in previous recessions seen in FDR's New Deal.
What it does
Our proposition raises taxes on the rich and subsidizes the risk of investment taken by lower-income entrepreneurs.
How we built it
We joined together as a team to discern the necessary portions of the proposition and effectively create legislation.
Challenges we ran into
Narrowing our focus onto something effective without running the risk of corruption and abuse.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have joined our ideas in a single project and the two-pronged effectiveness of the proposal.
What we learned
Economics is a vastly more complex topic than 3 minutes allows, but simple solutions have been seen to be the most effective.
