Inspiration
Some citizens don't have access to good skincare health institutions because of a lack of doctors and we wanted to provide a solution for this.
What it does
It is an advanced image-generation AI system that suggests the skin disease that a user might have, once they select the most relevant image from the download button on the website.
How we built it
We built this website and trained the AI model using multiple modern technologies which are as listed: Programming Languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python. AI Technologies and Frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, Pillow Organizational Tools: Visual Studio Code, Git/GitHub.
Challenges we ran into
We were having trouble paving our way to train the model first, and then integrate it into our codebase using Google Collab. Moreover, not getting the exact results as expected by the AI model was a really big challenge for us.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to make this project in just 24 hours which is really constructive work that we did. In addition to that, we're proud of making this project workable and usable for the customers out there in the market through which we can save the lives of millions of people.
What we learned
During the construction of this entire project, we got to learn lots of different ways to implement the AI model into our project. Additionally, we learned some advanced concepts of Python programming language. Other than that, we learned what a startup work environment feels like when you have a really small team to work on a really big and impactful project.
