Inspiration
People often get into situations in which they need to request help, but can't make noise while doing so at risk of revealing their location (e.g. as is in the case of a home invasion).
What it does
Alerts the proper authorities in the event of a dangerous situation

Using Java language
Challenges we ran into
Running the emulator on my laptop so I could see it working (LOL still didn't work, corrupt adb file that won't budge). Other teammates were able to run it fine though. Changing the UI to look nicer was also a hiccup on the road. Passing the information from one activity to another without the app crashing.

That we finished a project this weekend in time to submit!
What we learned
We learned how to work with a team and run an emulator, should I ever be able to fix the corrupt adb file. Learned how to use API's
What's next for Project SOS
Minor touch-ups on the UI; adding more features along the way according to any feedback given; optimizing live location sharing; can add shortcuts to open the app.
