Inspiration

There are NGOs in our city with so many meaningful missions and events that people are not aware of, they require volunteers and funding to run their organizations but they don't have a platform to publicize themselves. We truly believe the best way to "Spread The Love" is by giving back. So that inspired us to do something for the people who are already making our society a better place.

What it does

We have devised a Web App as a mediator between the people who want to give back to the society and the NGO's who want to make this world a more loving place to live in. It is a two-tier platform with an NGO tier and a Normal tier. The Normal tier allows people to view, volunteer, and Donate to NGOs, whereas the NGO tier allows NGO admins to edit the NGO profile, create events, publicize, and much more.

How we built it

The project is a modernized cloud-native web application based on Python Flask WebServer making use of cloud storage and databases. This platform is broken down as separate microservices and deployed onto the Kubernetes platforms as interlinked pods.
