Inspiration
Our project's inspiration lies in a profound concern for individual safety, particularly for women, and the urgent need for innovative solutions to combat the increasing number of accidents. Born from a collective desire to leverage technology for societal betterment, our idea aims to tangibly impact safety standards. By marrying data-driven insights with proactive measures, we believe we can significantly reduce mishaps and enhance overall safety.
What it does
Our women's safety application offers real-time risk assessment, identifies red zones, and provides insights into potential risks. Using advanced algorithms, it predicts future risks. The SOS feature allows users to send distress signals for immediate help from nearby security. Our application combines live monitoring, risk assessment, and proactive safety features to empower women with a comprehensive and effective safety solution.
How we built it
Our achievement centers on the design and prototype of the Predictive Safety Initiative application, utilizing advanced predictive analytics without traditional coding. Machine learning models were employed to analyze both anonymous and non-anonymous data sources. Collaboration with students played a crucial role in data collection and real-time monitoring. To ensure transparency and accessibility, we designed intuitive dashboards enabling communities and authorities to swiftly respond to identified risks.
