Inspiration
When we heard Drax the Destroyer say "There are two types of beings in the universe. Those who dance, and those who do not." to Star-Lord we decided we wanted to see our beloved characters dance. We then decided we wanted to dance with them.
What it does
You can place the character wherever you want on the screen and pick the dance you want to do with it- A dance-off, a tutorial or a follow along! The cute character forces a person to want to try it out and dance with them.
How we built it
We used Spark AR, JavaScript, Mixamo, and Blender. Spark AR & JavaScript- Creating the filter by using plane tracker, Native picker, animation sequences, and various other features. Blender- Character development and animation. Mixamo- Character animation
Challenges we ran into
Since we both are new in blender and we never had transferred an object with animation in blender to spark AR. Hence we were facing a lot of issues like the model was deforming or animation wasn't working. Then while we provided the test link it worked for few and for a few the filter was taking time to load hence we had a tough time with this.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that the filter came out well as we had expected and designed while discussing. From this, we learned a lot in spark AR like picker, plane tracking, and various other topics. We also learned to work around objects and animation in blender.
What we learned
From this, we learned a lot in spark AR like picker, plane tracking, and various other topics. We also learned to work around objects and animation in blender.
What's next for .
Create multiple superhero characters and in the future body tracking too.
