We always planned to follow the MedTech track because creating something that makes life easier for healthcare workers and patients feels especially meaningful. Through our own experiences, along with those of our friends and family in emergency rooms, we saw how much better organization and efficiency could improve that process. As we worked on this project, we learned that building something is never a straight path. There are roadblocks, setbacks, and moments where you may even need to start over, and that is part of the process. We began with our original idea and used Replit to build an app for patients and a website for hospitals. Over time, we kept iterating by removing some features, adding new ones, and refining the overall direction. Eventually, we realized our first idea was not fully feasible, so we had to rethink our approach while staying focused on the same goal of making ER visits and operations more efficient. That shift in perspective became our biggest challenge, but also one of our most important lessons.
