Inspiration
We were inspired by our common passion for finance and interest in leveraging computers to automate calculations.
What it does
This project encases a variety of functions relevant mathematical finance and sets the stage for further development.
How we built it
We built it primarily with VS code using the Python programming language so that it could be easily imported by other users who may need this functionality.
Challenges we ran into
We had many long conversations about not only how to implement it but also the maths behind it - we often spent longer discussing these things than we did coding!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were proud of the outcome especially in how we created random variables and the mathematics behind the project.
What we learnt
One of the key takeaways of the project for us was using github and version control tools effectively.
What's next for Project Plutus 2.0
We envisage using real data to model real life stocks automatically allowing easy analysis without the need to put in distributions. The possibilities for the future of this project are unlimited and we cannot wait to see what else we can do!
