Inspiration
Inspiration
My inspiration for SRTX (Shadow Recon Tracking X) came from a personal experience when my WhatsApp account was compromised. This incident helped me understand the importance of digital privacy, account security, and protecting sensitive information. I wanted to transform this experience into a meaningful cybersecurity initiative that could help users identify threats and improve their digital safety.
What it does
SRTX is a proposed AI-driven cybersecurity platform designed to strengthen mobile security through intelligent threat detection and multiple layers of protection. Its planned features include DNS-level security, suspicious-domain detection, phishing identification, behavioral analysis, unauthorized-access monitoring, and real-time security alerts. Its seven-layer defense architecture aims to combine user awareness, application security, device protection, network defense, DNS filtering, threat detection, and incident response.
How we built it
Our proposed approach combines cybersecurity principles, artificial intelligence, network monitoring, and a defense-in-depth architecture. The development plan includes researching common cyber threats, designing system layers, identifying suitable security tools, and developing threat-detection mechanisms. Each component would be evaluated through controlled testing to assess its effectiveness.
Challenges we ran into
A major challenge was understanding how different cyber threats affect mobile users and determining how multiple security layers could work together. Designing a practical solution that balances security, performance, privacy, and usability also requires careful planning and testing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to transform a personal security concern into an innovative cybersecurity concept. SRTX establishes a structured approach to mobile protection and creates opportunities to explore AI-based threat intelligence, proactive defense, and responsible technology development.
What we learned
This project strengthened our understanding of cybersecurity, digital privacy, threat prevention, artificial intelligence, and defense-in-depth principles. We also learned the importance of research, systematic planning, testing, and designing technology around real-world user problems.
