Inspiration: I have been wanting to create a game like this for a long time but found the inspiration after finding BOLT.new and using it to create my idea.

What it does: Field Marshall is a tactical turn based military game, where players lead their forces in historical battles to capture key objectives. Take on the role of either the allied player or axis player in competative one vs one battles. Create custom armies and take to the field in skrimish mode.

How we built it: This game was mostly built with BOLT.new and limited ChatGPT.

Challenges we ran into: I have no coding experiance outside of MATHLAB, so trying to understand the these other languages and logic was challenging. Token usage was also a challenge as wrong prompts quickly consumed tokens without obtaining results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Well, I am very proud of everything that was created. It was a lot of fun turning my ideas into realitly and working through and solving issues.

What we learned: I learned a lot more about the power of AI. This is the first time I used any type of AI and it just so happen to occur during this outstanding hackaton.

What's next for Field Marshall: Field Marshall will contiune to refining the historical battles by updateding battlefields to reperesnt proper terrain layout and units involded in the battles. A computer controlled player is in the works for a PVC mode.
