I was thinking about what application we should build, and I remembered that one of my close friend was recently diagnosed with a certain health condition and when I asked him about it, he brought up all these confusing medical health terms. I had to take a while to go and google the terms. So I was thinking to myself, why not build an application that allows people to search up medially related questions and get answers instantly?
What does it do
It provides information like definitions to answer user's medical related questions
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Most of us did not have any knowledge on coding applications with advanced languages/frameworks and we had to rely on teammates that had knowledge on it. The rest would come up with ideas and create the UIUX of the application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We had the chance to learn from each other and also were able to provide feedback
What we learned
We've learnt that hackathons are not all about the stress of creating certain products and there are fun moments as well
What's next for Project MediGlossary
The team is planning on further developing the application by adding multilingual options next so that it is accessible to everyone in the world
