Inspiration

Inspiration

Learning about the situation in villages near Jadugora in Jharkhand deeply affected me. Seeing the struggles faced by children and families made me realize how environmental problems can impact innocent lives and communities. This inspired me to think about how technology could help raise awareness about environmental risks.

What it does

Project Jadugora is a platform that monitors environmental risks in mining regions. It uses data analysis and mapping to highlight potential risk zones and improve awareness.

How we built it

I built the prototype using simple web technologies, data visualization tools, and basic AI/data analysis methods to analyze environmental information and display it through a dashboard.

Challenges we ran into

Finding reliable environmental data and simplifying a complex real-world issue into a hackathon prototype were the biggest challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of creating a project inspired by a real-world issue and turning it into a technology solution that promotes awareness.

What we learned

I learned how technology, data analysis, and visualization can help address environmental problems and raise awareness.

What's next for Project Jadugora

Next, I want to improve the platform by adding real-time environmental data, better mapping, and a system for community reporting.
