Inspiration
What it does
A bushfire can affect any person at any given point in time now. However, the level of effect varies and so does the needs of the person. Hence, an all-encompassing pre-disaster, during or post-disaster solution requires the person to have access to the resource they need quickly and in a easily consumable manner.
This solution proposes an interactive dashboard depicting bushfires in a historical, present and futuristic context. It also includes community participation as well.
How we built it
Collected data, did coding, created maps and forms and then the presentation
Challenges we ran into
Uploading the submission as well as I started to use open source applications and realized it would consume to much time. This caused me to lose time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing the project and the fact that it can be used in many caribbean countries.
What we learned
I learnt alot about the Bahamas and the long lasting effects of Hurricane Dorian
