Inspiration🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

First of all, Hacky Birthday MLH. We though that we have got so much inspiration from MLH events and watching other demos gives us hope , inspiration and ideas so we though to build up an platform where different Demos based on Category will be listed for eg:If someone wants to see demos of Hardware -Hacks then they can directly go to that category and see the hardware demos and so on.

What it does

It is an online platform currently live at here projecthub.study. The site contains an dashboard with categories of technologies and then thumbnails of Demo Videos from different Hackers building awesome project. So, It basically an platform where any beginner or professional hackers can see what others are building using the technology they are learning and they will get inspiration and ideas to do more and build awesome projects to simply daily tasks or solve an world problem. How we built it🔧🔧

We built it using Datastax AstraDB with ReactJS as frontend. First of all, we created a react app that lists al the contents from the Database. Then passed different values to the Database tables on AstraDB and then it automatically fetched those data from JSON and listed on the react site. After creating the site and linking the Database, we deployed it to netlify and then we registered an custom domain using Godaddy Registry. DataStax Dashboard of Database We Used

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges using No Sql Database and then the commands for the mutation on AstraDb was bit confusing at first but we watched tutorials on AstraDb and whole workflow was easier after that.

Accomplishments that we're proud of🏆🏆

We are very much happy that on the occasion of MLH Birthday, we were able to create something for the hackers like us and we learnt something cool and amazing away from our courses.

What we learned📘📘

We learnt AstraDB, graphql commands and we learnt how to can effectively collaborate with friends to ship a functioning project which is really really fruitful and fun.

What's next for Project-HUB⏭️⏭️

We are planning to add subscription feature on the site so that that will send email to people if new demos are added to the database and also planning to add Workshop categories on the same site that will allow user to learn as well as test their skills on the quizzes that will be provided on the site.
