Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that could help students provide solid proof for their work instead of relying on AI detectors.

What it does

Target audience: students and educators Heartstrings is an app that can an app that can help students to provide solid proof for their work instead of relying on ai detectors where students are being flagged for certain sentence structures and the use of punctuation marks like the em dash and the oxford comma despite them having existed and been in use for years. it can also help to establish trust between the students and educators which ai may have weakened by showing the effort and typing process behind their work.

How we built it

We built Heartstrings using Bolt.

Challenges we ran into

We ran out of Bolt credits while completing our app. Hence, we had to reschedule our time and complete the other tasks first, proceeding with the app the next day instead.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to have an app that could generate the report by itself, as well as have two working interfaces, the ‘Student’ tab and the ‘Teacher’ tab.

What we learned

We learn to not give up when facing challenges, as well as to work together as a team and adapt to changes, such as when a teammate cannot make it last minute.

What's next for Project Heartstrings

We would like to add a feature where students would be able to add images into their work, as many projects require students to submit work with images attached.
