Inspiration

Inspired from the 2015 Hollywood movie "PIXELS"

What it does

It recreates the retro arcade game "Space Invaders" where the user has to control a space ship and on mouse button trigger it attacks other spaceships.

How we built it

Built it on python using simple images which are used as assets.

Challenges we ran into

Since I used images as assets thus the background is a repetition of two images which can be obliterated I could have use any other means to give a proper live asset. Accomplishments that we're proud of

The game works and my friends and juniors (I am a college student) loved it. They were also eager to know which retro game I would recreate next.

What we learned

Learned a lot about python modules.

What's next for PROJECT GREY

Well, Honestly, I am a college student so I also have to focus on my academic career so at the moment I cannot respond to the future aspect. But I do have a vision which is to create a console emulator which can play many 90s arcade games like centipede, blockers, pacman, etc
