Inspiration To help simplify the lives and schedules of many, from the busy parent to someone suffering from depression who need more engaging reminders of tasks to complete and appointments to make

What it does The project glo top interacts once the user has created a schedule through the website by illuminating the garment with LED lights that change color based on what task or appointment has been entered on the website

How we built it We had a custom knit fabric made to encase and showcase the LEDs in an easy and fashionable sweater top, we then connected a feather huzzah to communicate with a website that was coded to activate the lights

Challenges we ran into We lacked the materials and time needed to fully execute a prototype in the way we had envisioned

Accomplishments that we're proud of As a team, we are proud of the many learning curves we overcame to craft a garment that lights up. My teammates and I learned to code, solder, and integrate LEDs into a piece of fabric while interacting with the process of making a custom knit.

What we learned Coding skills, communication, and soldering

What's next for Project Glo If interest is present in the idea after the hackathon, we would love to have the support of a sponsor to advance the technological ideals we had in mind to create a better user experience.
