Inspiration

When we observed that long waits at Hospitals needs to be fixed.

What it does

Stores medical data of all Jamaicans in the database, which inturn allows Doctors to make changes and Patients to view their health reports online.

How I built it

With the help of Kadian as the frontend HTML designer, Wesley as the core HTML and CSS web developer, Takeen being the backbone of the website (With HTML,CSS,PHP and MySQL) and our Team Manager we were able to build something that encompasses our vision.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest one of all is Time. We needed more time plus extra management skills.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The website can actually work, having that our backend developer was able to learn PHP and MySQL in less than 40 hours to be able to build a working database plus an API was the greatest accomplishment for us.

What I learned

We learnt that teamwork can make the dreamwork but each member must be responsible and trustworthy so that the task can be accomplished in the given timeframe.

What's next for Project Emergency

If our idea is completely workable, we will remain as a team and build this website for Jamaica in an attempt to lift the burden on patients in the health sector.
