Project Elysium | Tv Show Tarailer

Inspiration

Project Elysium was born from a desire to explore the intersection of grief and technology. I’ve always been fascinated by the question: If we had the tools to bring someone back, would we stop to consider the consequences?

What it does

The trailer introduces a world where Nora, consumed by the death of her sister Sofie, turns to Elysium-an experimental technology that can reconstruct a human mind. As she dives deeper into this digital afterlife, reality begins to fracture, forcing her to confront the psychological and moral cost of resurrection.

How we built it

I created the trailer using a hybrid AI cinematic pipeline including Google Veo3, Kling, Midjourney, Magnific, ElevenLabs, and CapCut and Ideogram. This process allowed me to visualize complex sci fi environments, digital consciousness, and emotional performances that normally require large scale production resources.

Challenges we ran into

Sci fi worlds demand consistency and logic, even when reality bends. The biggest challenge was maintaining continuity in a story where physical and digital environments constantly merge. Ensuring that Nora and Sofie felt emotionally authentic

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a trailer that feels cinematic and emotionally grounded, even though it was produced entirely with emerging AI tools. It captures the heart of the series: a human story wrapped inside a futuristic mystery.

This project was also my first true test of text to video instead of image to video. The shift demanded far more control over character consistency and emotional continuity, but it proved the approach can work beautifully. It challenged the process, changed the workflow, and ultimately made the creative journey more exciting and innovative.

What we learned

We learned how to balance spectacle with intimacy. Technology can build worlds, but the emotional core must come from the characters and their conflict. This project reaffirmed that AI filmmaking is most powerful when guided by a personal story.
