The inspiration came from a common frustration in the developer community: finding meaningful open-source projects to contribute to. While GitHub hosts millions of repositories, discovering quality projects that match your skill level and interests remains a significant challenge.
I observed that many developers, especially beginners, struggle with:
- Overwhelming choice paralysis when browsing GitHub
- Difficulty identifying beginner-friendly projects
- Lack of personalized recommendations based on coding preferences
- Time wasted on inactive or poorly maintained repositories
This project aims to bridge that gap by creating a curated, intelligent discovery experience that connects developers with projects where their contributions would be most valuable.
