📌 Sudarent

A smart and lightweight web platform that brings logic and fairness to Sudan’s chaotic rental market. In a time when rental prices are random, inflated, and often unjustified, Sudarent aims to be the reference point for tenants and landlords alike — by calculating a fair price based on real data.

💡 Inspiration

The rental market in Sudan is unstable and unfair. Many people struggle to find a place to live because of random pricing and lack of standards. This causes stress, disputes, and inequality. Sudarent was created to bring balance — to offer logic where there's guesswork, and fairness where there's chaos.

⚙️ What It Does

Sudarent takes simple property details from the user — such as space, location, cleanliness, utilities, furnishing, and nearby services — and calculates a fair rental price in seconds. The formula behind the platform is smart, adaptive, and designed to reflect real-world conditions without bias.

BasePrice = space × ratePerMeter
FinalPrice = BasePrice × (1 + totalPercentage / 100)

🚧 Challenges

One major challenge was assigning fair weights to each property factor — like how much cleanliness should affect price versus services. Another was designing a clean, bilingual interface that works on all devices. Lastly, making the logic clear without needing a backend or AI — yet.

✅ Achievements

We built a working solution to a real issue, in both Arabic and English. The design is clean, the logic is strong, and the user flow is smooth. All in a short time frame and with clear focus on local needs.
