AWS has rejected my request to unlock access to Bedrock models due to new account restrictions, at least for the time being :(( I have already taken every measure I could think of — identity verification, appropriate billing setup, IAM permissions, demonstrating active account usage, and contacting support directly.
While I understand that internal policies like these are put in place for good reason, concrete justifications and evidence should carry weight in such decisions.
Nevertheless, this is what our fallback alert system was built for. We never want to leave street vendors vulnerable when a simple app can give them the peace of mind to carry on with their day without worrying about sudden weather disruptions. I am deeply grateful to the people behind Open-Meteo for building such a reliable, powerful, and free API that allows students like me to apply it in projects that address real problems.
