Inspiration

The project is about fighting COVID as a responsible citizen, the first line of defense. Like batman of Gotham city, we save our city and keep others safe. With power comes responsibility and technology supports our effort. The user truly turns batman with her/his coolest gadget - the MobileApp. The MobileApp C20 - informs a person of how safe a region is to visit and requires him to check-in and check-out of any public space they enter. The App doesn’t require any login hence the identity of the user is always in dark.

What it does

A crowdsourced opensource project that helps both the public and medical practitioners to get a COVID -19 update, reports and analyze critical regions.

How I built it

Using a bunch of things Andriod App, Python + Flask Web application, Mongo DB for database, MQTT for messages, ESRI for the reporting, GCP cloud API for image recognition, GCP instances for hosting the web application and messaging queue

Challenges I ran into

Can't even start telling of it.. We had a tough time in Andriod App getting into shape, the ESRI graph timeline, the setup of web application and the worst for intergrations...

We are using ESRI APIs to geocoding and location-based searches.
