Inspiration

We were inspired to create a platform that empowers individuals to improve their financial well-being by providing personalized advice and opportunities tailored to their unique situations.

What it does

Project Ascension helps users track their credit scores, manage their financial data, receive customized advice, and discover opportunities that align with their financial goals and eligibility.

How we built it

We built it using Django, designing models to handle users, credit scores, financial situations, opportunities, and advice, integrating them for a seamless user experience.

Challenges we ran into

we ran into problems implementing cookies due to Django needing passwords to be hashed. We also had the same problem with passwords for the frontend due to he previously stated problem.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of developing a comprehensive platform that delivers personalized financial insights and opportunities, potentially making a positive impact on users' financial health.

What we learned

We learned the importance of careful database design, user data privacy considerations, and integrating multiple data sources to provide valuable user insights.

What's next for Project Ascension

Next, we plan to implement advanced recommendation algorithms, enhance privacy features, and integrate third-party financial services to broaden the platform's capabilities.
