Inspiration

In general women tend to talk to less due to inferiority complex, imposter syndrome, introverted nature and several other reasons. There will be a situation in every person's life where they needs a bit of motivation and support from others sometimes we need that person next to us and sometimes even virtual feeling makes us feel the best.

What it does

The current web application helps in

1. Motivating people with a motivation space where people can share their journeys, success, failure stories, etc through which we can learn.
2. Network is very important. The more people you know, the more knowledge you gain, the more opportunities you secure. This application helps in connecting with like skilled people.

How we built it

I built this web application using the MERN stack, which stands for MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. MongoDB is used as the database to store and manage data.

Challenges we ran into

This hackathon is not as simple as it looks. Every minute seems critical and there are hurdles at every step considering myself a beginner but my major challenge I faced is while trying to incorporate a chat application.

What we learned

I have learned a lot during this time. I have improved myself with these technologies and the new challenges which MLH conducted helped me in learning new things. Every bug I tried to solve gained me knowledge and confidence.

What's next for Diva

The current application can be developed in such a way that 1) Organizing meetups in the application for empowerment 2)Chat application for better understanding of each other.
