Inspiration
Always wanted to design websites and loved the possibilities and numerous ways you can design a website to your liking.
What it does
It works as a job seeker, it finds job posts for different positions in different places that could possibly interest the user.
How we built it
Using HTML and CSS, I could design the website and create some functionality like buttons that would take the user to a different place.
Challenges we ran into
Even though I stated I always wanted to design websites I am pretty new to HTML and CSS. Therefore I didn't know how to design the websites I wanted. Learning everything from scratch was definitely tricky. Having to constantly search for how to code something because I had no clue as to what I was doing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Despite my lack of knowledge of the languages, I'm most proud of how far I have come. I have a somewhat functional website and it absolutely blows my mind how complex building a website really is, but how nice it feels when the things I want happen.
What we learned
I now have some experience with HTML and CSS. With these new experiences I can now hopefully expand that knowledge and design better websites.
What's next for Programming Job Board
The next step for Programming Job Board is to build it up even further. By no means is Programming Job Board finished there are so many things that can be done to the website, so there is no reason for me to stop.
