Booking Tradesman in UK is a pain. It involves constant forward backward calls to discuss the job fit, cost effertiveness and probably start date.

What it does

The platform I have proposed provides prevetted Professional tradesman who work on hourly basis providing transparency in price . They are only listed on the search if they can do the work immediately and hence can be booked instantly. There by solving the problem of cost effectiveness, instant booking and a hassle free process

How we built it

Used a OneShot prompt for this - I want to develop a webapp which provides tradesman like Electrician, handyman, plumber, gardener, locksmith, cleaner on an hourly basis. Develop a professional website which highlights this information. Shows the advantages of this like no waiting, no numerous calls forward and backwards.

Display rates of Electrician 75/hr Plumber 60/hr Gardener 60/hr Handyman 50/hr LockSmith 70/hr

Also display a How it works section. Customer provides details of the job, with Photos and videos. Relevant Tradesman are shown who can be booked.

Provide a text area with search tradesman button, with ability to add photos and videos. In this text box customer will provide details of the work/job to be done For example replacement of electric socket, switch or changing tap and so on. And select the tradesman of one of the above. When clicked on it, a search is done for the particular Tradesman (provide a dummy of atleast 5 tradesman in each category for now). With reviews , skills for the tradesman and Book Now button. when book now button is clicked pop up is shown which collects user email address and when submitted , show details like

Challenges we ran into

Believe since this was oneshot prompt it worked with no issues, though there are more enhancement I want to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A decent website which was created in one single prompt. The platform solves a serious problem.

What we learned

If a prompt is provided with all the required details, be descriptive with as much details as possible. Bolt can easily built a ready web app. Easy to launch a decent web app with a single prompt.

Plan to take this to the next step, Hire Tradesman and launch this in a small locality in UK as an MVP.
