Our project is a productivity timer similar to a Pomodoro timer or the Forest app. It features a series of widgets designed to keep the user focused and motivated on their tasks whilst promoting good time management. This ranges from an integrated Soundcloud player that focuses on music or sounds designed to keep the user concentrated to a to-do list with a reminder feature that makes sure the user can keep note of their tasks. We decided to use a warm and natural picture as the background to further add an atmosphere of relaxation and aims to help the user ease into their work. The main feature, the timer, counts down in a depleting circle to give users a visual sense of their workflow or worktime. The countdown time itself can be customised accordingly by the user to the estimated or required amount of 25-minute cycles for each task set. This works in tandem with the to-do list to help incorporate a reminder system that notifies the user at a set time to help them keep track of their schedule. Finally, a cycling inspirational quote section aims to provide some sort of motivation for the user throughout the workday.
