Inspiration
We were inspired by pomodoro timers, and the technique used for studying. This gave us inspiration for a an app that uses a pomodoro timer while being able to keep track of work.
What it does
This is a simple website with a timer, calendar, and task to help keep students focused on their work
How we built it
Using what we knew of javascript, html, css, and frameworks like spring boot we created a website.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the database to function correctly with the tasks, while trying to get our website running as we want it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to learn things, since this is our first hackathon.
What we learned
We learned about databases, web design, html, javascript, and css.
What's next for Productivity App
We plan to create a cleaner website, implement a functioning calendar and task system, a search function, and integrate a pre-trained model like media pipe to detect if a student is paying attention, flashcard tabs for notes using AI.
