Inspiration

All members decided that a simple productivity app would make us more productive throughout the day. Similar to bears coming out of hibernation, we are all tired and unmotivated to do daily tasks so this app keeps us on track!

What it does

It is a simple pomodoro timing productivity app with recorded statistics. It also has a ToDo Task List where you can add tasks to a pending tab, delete a task and mark the task as done. In addition, it also has a calendar to keep track of the current date for the user.

How we built it

It is 100% Java and it was built through Eclipse.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into were when we were implementing the ToDo Task List. It took us longer than expected to finish the functionality of deleting the task from the pending tab and corresponding text file. Another challenge we had was storing tasks and study statistics so they would be the same after the application restarted. In order to overcome this we had to learn how to write and read the information we needed into files in the project folder.
