Personal experiences with procedures and operating rooms

What it does

It is a debriefing tool to quickly ensure reliability and decrease mistakes during medical procedures. It displays relevant patient data from an EMR into a concise interface that compares the patient file to the surgeon notes taken prior to the procedure to make sure there are no discrepancies.

How we built it

Visual graphics in Canva and Adobe Illustrator, and Replit with Python

Challenges we ran into

Our code has not reliably read the PDF files and has not been able to transfer file information

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We devised a complete concept of a surgical software that can be further developed in the future

What we learned

Starting expectations do not always meet end results

What's next for PROCEED

Further develop the software and incorporate machine learning capabilities with staff and tool recognition in the OR.
