Inspiration
I was chatting with a career advisor about jobs for people with disability. This conversation inspired our team to create a job posting site for people with disability, specifically autism.
What it does
Serve as an all-in-one solution for people with disability to find a job.
How we built it
We used Spring boot to host our web service and followed the MVC architecture.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of ideas (hook up to database, NLP AI to recommend jobs, and UI for employer) but was limited by the time of the hackathon. Thus, we only created what's necessary to demonstrate our fundamental ideas.
