Sometime finding help is hard when you need it most so we decided to build a mobile open community for finding advice anywhere from technical help to personal help.
What it does
We built an iOS app which allows users to log in and select skills which they are looking for help in as well as select skills which they can help other people in. Users looking for help will be paired with users offering help and can engage in a live video call to accomplish their goal.
How we built it
We built the client with iOS and utilized Firebase as our backend. Users communicate over video or audio utilizing the Since API.
Challenges we ran into
Initially we were going to use Parse as our backend but had issues using the library on one teammate's laptop so decided to go with Firebase.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
With just two members on the team we were able to build the backend and mobile app
What we learned
It's best to have a a backend solution decide before any hackathon and computing environments updated.
What's next for ProblemSolved
