ProBIT

Inspiration

ProBIT is a Supply Chain targeted, inclusive of Digital Identity Platform with a theme to establish the Financial Stability in the society by leveraging the Market Trends to common users. It aims to eradicate the financial gap between the rich and the non-rich.

What it does

It acts as a middleware between the users and assets. Users with common interest can pool and invest on an asset using our platform. For instance, if an individual wishes to invest on a house and he is unable to afford it all by himself, he can pool with people sharing common interest and own the part of the asset using smart contracts, house in this case. He can also leverage the advantage of market trends and earn the returns with his investment.

How does it impact

It targets to uplift the Financial Stability of an individual in the Society.
It provides Social Security of the assets owned using Smart Contracts.
It Leverages Market Trends to Common Users.

How we built it

Front-End Application using React to let users browse and invest on Assets.
Back-End Application using Node JS which intelligently groups users with common interests and lets you buy/sell the asset according to User Convenience.
Hyperledger Fabric that establishes a trust factor between each individual and the asset owned using Smart Contracts

Challenges we ran into

Establishing communication with block chain
Architecting the end-to-end.

We are able to build the working application to our best efforts establishing the stable end-to-end communication across various components of an application

What we learned

Hyperledger is a great technology with diverse capabilities. It was a great opportunity to play around and pick the one that suits our application the most.
