What is a Multiverse Time-Shot™ Story?

PROBE was designed with a genre-native interactive cinematic micro-series format for YouTube or similar video platforms. It is built as a modular, deterministic storytelling structure combining elements of: -Sci-fi, horror, philosophy, and speculative ethics -Interactive viewer agency -Compact audiovisual storytelling -Multiverse and branching narrative theory

The entire multiverse is composed of 15 micro-stories, structured as a 4-level branching tree: -Level 1 (Root): 1 starting story node -Level 2: 2 diverging branches -Level 3: 4 unique midpoints -Level 4 (Terminal): 8 irreversible endings

PROBE explores: -Artificial intelligence, time anomalies, and unintended consequences of exploration. -Human colonialism reframed through the lens of interstellar contact. -Ethical ambiguity: “The right decision may not exist — only consequences.”

Narratives blur lines between: -Creator vs Creation -Observer vs Invader -Mission vs Myth

The “PROBE” is more than a machine.

It is the seed event — the catalyst from which all timelines bloom. More than advanced technology or a classified mission, it becomes a mirror for our deepest drives. It represents exploration, observation — but also interference. A silent agent of change.

Thematically, “PROBE” resonates across multiple levels: -The human impulse to pierce the unknown, regardless of cost. -The blurred line between curiosity and violation — when does discovery become transgression? -The cold detachment of empire and industry, cloaked in scientific neutrality, always watching, always extracting.

And on a meta-level? The viewer becomes the probe — navigating the branching narrative, probing reality with each decision. A recursive echo of exploration.

Challenges we ran into?

Basically budget and time, because I work alone.

The Time-Shot talks about the implications of choices, while wondering about deep philosophical questions as our place in the cosmos, a playground where gods become creations and creations turn into deities. Are we owners of our fate or just a farm experiment? Is it possible to shape reality and manifest at will?

The Time-Shot structure is not just storytelling — it’s a test.

Every choice refracts reality, unlocking alternate futures. What seems like fiction unfolds like prophecy: A meditation on agency, consequence, and the nature of evolution. Are we explorers or colonizers? Are we gods in the making… or artifacts in someone else’s lab? “PROBE” is a narrative vessel — but also a question. A warning. And maybe… an invitation.
