Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from our desire to help out the community through user experience. We are a team of UX designers trying to improve our skills and craft but as well help out companies and non-profits. We wanted to create a centralized healthcare platform that prioritizes patients' access and ownership of their data. We created PrivateLife, focusing on the check-in process of in-person visits, allowing patients to easily share and upload their medical data prior to their visit, to differentiate ourselves from other health care companies. And in the span of 2 days, we brought out our idea to life following a patient experience.

What it does

Our prototype onboards a user through inputting their basic information, connecting health care portals, checking in and scheduling appointments. Through these processes, we are trying to show how the patient can share their information with different health care providers and have all their information safely stored in PrivateLife's database.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Many times we felt as if we were thinking too much into the little details that we lost a bunch of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to finish this project within the span of technically 1.5 days. We are super glad that we were able to collaborate and have a great time doing so!

What we learned

We learned that we were able to dedicate our time and prioritize tasks accordingly to successfully complete our project. Really hope you guys enjoy it!!

What's next for PrivateLife

We would love to be able to have the chance to see our vision of PrivateLife come to life through development. As this is all about improving the clinician and patient experience at hospitals, it would be great to do a few iterations after hearing how patients and clinicians feel about our solution.
