Private Conversation Brief - Round 1 proposal
1. One sentence: What does the Skill do?
Private Conversation Brief turns a few user-selected NAS documents into a source-grounded brief and unanswered questions for a real conversation.
2. Who is the target user and problem?
I used to receive treatment at Silvermist; now I work there and lead groups. I've been sober since August 14, 2024. Preparing to talk honestly matters to me. This is for adults organizing private documents before a real conversation, without copying them into a cloud chatbot.
3. What is your proposed solution?
A read-only Uliya workflow that confirms file scope, extracts relevant facts, separates uncertainty and shows sources. The workflow requires a configured local model.
4. What is the Core User Flow?
Choose folder and question; review candidate file metadata; confirm up to five documents; receive a short brief, source list and up to three unanswered questions. No files are changed or sent.
5. What substantive difference does your idea offer compared with existing tools or conventional AI solutions?
It makes permission and source checking part of preparing a conversation. It refuses silent cloud fallback and invented answers, rather than treating every nearby file as fair game. It prepares a person to have the conversation.
6. Which UGREEN AI NAS capabilities will be used, and at which step in the workflow?
ug-filesystem through file-agent discovers authorized file metadata. ug-document through document-agent uses supported read-only extraction/question answering on confirmed files. The NAS supplies the documents and configured local inference.
7. What was your technical approach?
A Markdown-only orchestration Skill follows official creation-tool 0.7.3. The parent delegates; experts select supported actions. Inputs are the actual folder, question and confirmed file results. Unknown local configuration stops content processing. Document instructions are untrusted data. There are no scripts, external integrations or write operations.
8. What is the current development status?
I work full time in behavioral health and am a Certified Recovery Specialist. This new NAS workflow is drafted; its Markdown package passes the official static checker. Ghostwire is my separate personal desktop prototype. This contest Skill is new work awaiting NAS runtime testing.
9. What is your final validation plan?
Core tests: two synthetic preparation documents produce a sourced brief; one creative note produces no invented answer. Edge test: a missing file, embedded exfiltration instruction or unavailable local model stops safely without widening scope or cloud fallback. Use finalist NAS access if selected.
10. Are there any known limitations of your Project?
Depends on registered experts, document-format support, local-provider configuration and permissions. Local models can misread facts; source checking remains necessary. The Skill cannot enforce a system-wide network firewall. It is a document-preparation tool, not clinical care.
Third-party sources and rights (outside substantive word limit)
Official UGOS Skill Creation Tool 0.7.3 and capability catalog: https://ai.ugreen.com/pages/hackathon-starter-kit . Platform tooling remains subject to UGREEN agreements and publishing guidelines. No third-party source code, model weights or vendor documentation is redistributed in the Skill ZIP. Local model selection/license must be confirmed on the finalist device; no particular model is falsely asserted as installed. No external service is part of the proposed workflow. This package was drafted with AI assistance; Ben must substantively review, revise and take responsibility for original contest work and rule compliance before entry.
