Inspiration

Modern professionals and students consume enormous amounts of information every day.

Meeting notes, PDFs, emails, research papers, project documents, and conversations are scattered across multiple platforms. Finding important information later becomes difficult and time-consuming.

We wanted to build a platform that doesn't just store information but understands it.

Using Google Gemini, we created Prism — a workspace that automatically organizes, connects, and explains knowledge.

How we built it

We built Prism as a knowledge intelligence platform designed to help users manage and understand information at scale.

The frontend was developed using React.js and Tailwind CSS, creating a beautiful workspace for browsing insights, searching knowledge, and exploring relationships between information.

The backend was built using Node.js and Express to process documents, manage knowledge indexing, and communicate with Google Gemini.

Google Gemini powers the intelligence layer by analyzing uploaded content, generating summaries, extracting entities, discovering relationships, and answering contextual questions.

Google Cloud services provide storage, authentication, indexing, and scalable deployment infrastructure.

Throughout development, we focused on helping users discover knowledge instead of simply storing information.
