Princesses In STEM

Inspiration

Our personal stories, and experiences with princesses.

What it does

It’s an application which allows children to see women in STEM, specifically through seeing their role models.

How we built it

We built a basic prototype using Canva.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to come up with a unique idea that we liked and fit the challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our final product and how much we were able to accomplish in such a short time period.

What we learned

We learned about the significance of empowering women, and how difficult is it to find a solution.

What's next for Princesses In STEM

Next, we are planning on programming and building our game to make it a reality. We hope to offer this tool in preschools/elementary schools. Hopefully by that time, more female-empowering characters will be added. Lastly, we aim to add more influential women that do noteworthy STEM careers, women who are willing to share their journeys and might be recognized by kids.
