The Princess Vlei Forum (PVF) is a non-governmental organization that organizes community events at and maintains a 110-hectare conservation and cultural heritage site. Our team of four worked to overhaul the website UI/UX, including 12 page updates including the home page, many of which had not been substantially updated since 2015.
Employing an Agile approach to project management complete with daily standups and a detailed backlog, our team went through a UI brainstorming process using Figma, created new wireframes, and updated nearly every page of the site. This entailed adding a way to donate online, revamping the CSS theme, re-envisioning the home page using Javascript elements, and creating an embedded React app. The overall impact of the project will be to boost community and stakeholder engagement with the Princess Vlei conservation and heritage site and the Forum which stewards it.
