Price Tracker

This project uses the Target API to save a record of the items we buy and then tracks its price over time.

Inspiration

We were curious how small price changes of products happen over time

What it does

It keeps a record of the price of an item we buy and shows how it changed over time.

How I built it

We built it using Eclipse and IntelliJ IDE's for JAVA and mysql for database management.

Challenges I ran into

2 teammates leaving. how to auto-update the data. no search function in Target API.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

to be able to complete half or more of the project

I worked with price extraction, name extraction and part of the image extraction methods. Also I worked on the database connection with mysql.
