Inspiration

I hang out with a lot of retail sellers and know their problems with pricing adjustment. The problems get worst when they do promotional campaign, they must know exactly the profit margin - if not they'll loss. This app is designed to help any business owner or seller optimize their product or service pricing without sacrifice profit while stay competitive.

But the most important part of the story and my motivation is because I’m now upgrading my financial literacy and excited to share with others. And more than 11 years I don't do coding, I'm amazed how AI is a game changer in app development. With the apps, people can simultaneously act, learn, and upgrade their knowledge at the same time.

How I built it

  1. Do research to gather the most comprehensive pricing strategy metrics.
  2. Ask ChatGPT to help me create prompts and do more research.
  3. Rewrite all the info I got from ChatGPT to be used for initial prompt on Bolt New.
  4. I did testing and I saw the MVP is ready, I’m confident to let others know about this app.

Challenges I ran into

Not challenge in development as it’s designed for one-shot prompting. The most challenges happened on the pre-development on research.

Accomplishments that I’m proud of

I can’t believe after 11 years don't do any coding, I can build solid app with Bolt New. The instant data and insight updates in the app is amazing.

What I learned

Let AI help in creating prompt for another AI to create app. With this approach I got many insights for my initial prompt.
