Inspiration

Early prevention saves cost and have a better treatment outcome. Prevention Calendar aims at create calendar reminder for doctor appointment or self checkup in the hope of early discover and early treatment if any.

What it does

A decision tree based questionnaire that leads to setting a calendar reminder for a doctor's appointment and breast self-exam.

How we built it

With React, Redux and Google Calendar API.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble initially to authenticate with Google Calendar API, which was solved by whitelisting localhost:3000. There are other permissions to be explored to separate users calendar namespace.
We are all back-end engineers but we are doing front-end work only so it's quite challenging.
