Pretty Plus Size Anthem | Body Positivity

Inspiration

I wanted to create something that celebrated plus size beauty without the usual pity, apology, or “body neutrality” narrative. I wanted confidence, shine, and main-character energy. This project is about reclaiming the right to take up space and be seen as powerful, beautiful, and desirable.

What it does

Pretty Plus Size Anthem is a music–visual piece that uplifts plus size women with high-fashion, glam, editorial energy. It encourages self-love, confidence, and pride by presenting plus size beauty as luxurious and aspirational, not secondary or hidden.

How we built it

I wrote the lyrics using ChatGPT, then used Suno to bring the song to life. For visuals, I generated keyframes with Higgsfield Popcorn and animated them using Grok. CapCut was used for final editing and post-production.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the balance between confidence and authenticity was challenging. I didn’t want it to feel forced or performative. I also had to work through a lot of style trial-and-error to achieve a consistent character look and visual flow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of making a plus size empowerment piece that actually looks cool. Not “cute.” Not “inspirational.” But cinematic, stylish, and high-quality.

What we learned

I learned how to refine prompts for consistency, how to sync animation with music rhythmically, and how emotional tone can shift dramatically through framing and pacing.

What's next for Pretty Plus Size Anthem | Body Positivity

I’d like to create a full music video version, potentially with multiple scenes and outfit variations. I’m also exploring turning this into a series of visual anthems centered on underrepresented identities in beauty and fashion.
