Inspiration Our inspiration for Pristine Access came from witnessing the challenges young people face with porn addiction and its negative impact on mental health. We aimed to create a solution that empowers youth to make healthier choices.

What it does Pristine Access is a mobile app that helps combat porn addiction by restricting access to adult websites, implementing age verification, and providing a token system for responsible usage. It promotes healthier habits and offers a secure platform for users.

How we built it We developed Pristine Access using Flutter for the front-end interface and Python for backend functionality. The app integrates machine learning algorithms for enhanced face recognition and behavior analysis, alongside Firebase for secure data management.

Challenges we ran into Some of the challenges we encountered included ensuring robust age verification and face recognition accuracy. Additionally, implementing DNS blocking effectively posed technical hurdles that required extensive testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of successfully developing a user-friendly interface, integrating machine learning for enhanced security, and creating a system that empowers users to take control of their internet consumption.

What we learned Through this project, we learned the importance of user-centered design, the complexities of integrating multiple technologies, and the significance of addressing sensitive topics like addiction with empathy and care.

What's next for Pristine Access We plan to enhance the app by adding features like user feedback mechanisms, community support resources, and collaborations with mental health organizations to further minimize pornography exposure among youngsters.
