Inspiration: I was inspired by the fact that when I was younger people would always complain about those neighbors that wouldn't cut their grass and brought all the other home valuations down.
What it does: So basically, what it does is just ask the user to identify whether or not they are one of those pesky owners who refuses to cut their grass and if yes, it pressures them into cutting their grass by intimidating them with pictures of their home prices going down.
How I built it: The program is very simple and we followed the tutorial that the datathon founders put together on cosmos and used the same house prices dataset, so credit goes to them too.
Challenges I ran into: The main challenge was trying to figure out what type of program to write.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: nothing.
What I learned: We were on the learners track, so we learned a lot about statistics and math that we didn't know before.
What's next for Shaming Bad Homeowners Into Cutting Their Grass: We would open to trying it out in real life.
Note: please don't call me to present and only look at the code lol. My teammate is Ethan Cockerham.
