Inspiration

Tired of staring at a blank slide, struggling to find the right words? We were too. The process of creating presentations, especially those packed with compelling content, can be both time-consuming and draining. That’s why we built Presently AI. We wanted to provide a tool that would automate the most tedious part of presentation creation—writing engaging content—so you can focus on the big picture. Whether you're a seasoned presenter or just starting out, Presently AI is designed to help you craft professional-looking presentations quickly and easily.

What it does

Presently AI allows you to enhance your slide content with just a few clicks. By simply entering a title, description, and desired tone, the application automatically generates personalized text suggestions.

How we built it

We developed Presently AI using React for the user interface and GEMINI content generation APIs to create the text for the slides. The application is integrated with Canva to allow easy editing and customization of the slides. We also used modern design libraries to ensure a smooth and intuitive user interface.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was ensuring the quality and relevance of the automatically generated texts. We had to refine our algorithms to ensure that the results were always useful and coherent. Another challenge was the integration with Canva, which required a deep understanding of their SDK and adjustments to ensure that our application worked well with their platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have created an application that truly simplifies the creation of presentations for our users. We also successfully overcame technical challenges to offer a smooth and intuitive user experience.

What we learned

During the development of Presently AI, we gained valuable experience in integrating third-party services and optimizing content generation algorithms. Working as a team on this project also allowed us to strengthen our collaboration and project management skills.

What's next for Presently AI

We plan to add new features to Presently AI, such as more advanced customization options, predefined themes, and integrations with other productivity tools. We also plan to develop versions for other platforms to expand our reach and help even more people create exceptional presentations.
